Le LAAS - Laboratoire d’Analyse et d’Architecture des Systèmes
The LAAS-CNRS is the 2nd largest French photovoltaics laboratory. It is currently undertaking Research on system optimization and yield (converters and chargers).
Objective : extract 100% of energy from solar panels. A unique innovative approach un collaboration with Total SA .
The EMAC research complex
3 research centers - 210 people among which the RAPSODEE Research Center (85 persons), a joint laboratory between the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the Ecole des Mines d'Albi-Carmaux (EMAC) , specialized in :
- industrial processes for treating particulate solids
- energetic and environmental efficiency of processes and buildings
- valorisation of solid wastes and biomass
- Renewable energies (biomass and solar energy)
